Selena Gomezlooked hot and sexy as she took time out from her Central American tour in Mexico City to receive a gold record for her 2011 album When the Sun Goes Down. Then, she went back to work at a concert that night.Gomez, 19, has adopted some Vegas glitz for her latest tour swing. She wore a sequined blue show costume with an open, floor-length skirt, high-waisted bikini pants and a plunging halter top.
Before she kicked off the tour, Selena unveiled a slightly more punk hairdo streaked with blue, purple and blonde extensions. She’s stuck with the look so far on the tour.
For the ceremony, she wore platform boots, Daisy Duke faded jean shorts, a sheer white blouse and short pink quarter-length blazer. Fortunately, she wore a bra. She’s not Miley Cyrus yet.She called her latest performance “the most intense, crazy, chaotic most beautiful show EVER.”
When asked about the pluses and minuses of her career, she said she was thankful she could use her talent to help people through charities, whether through her music or clothing line. “I love being able to have a voice and using it for things that are important.”
Selena has just unveiled her new clothes collection from her Dream out Loud clothing line. She just released a behind-the-scenes video talking about some of her favorite pieces, including a throwback to bell-bottom jeans.
“I do love the flare jeans.” Selena said. “It’s just because I wear skinny jeans religiously, so I’m really happy that we’re going to have a bit of the flare ’70s kind of look in the spring line.”
